In 1904 a man named George Edwin Taylor made history becoming the first black presidential candidate in United States history. Even though he lost the election he made a name for his self, and encouraged other black presidents to run. We even had our first black president Brock Obama who was also ridiculed like George Taylor, who came from a troubled back ground and had to overcome certain obstacles that many people wouldn’t be able to overcome, they would give up because they feel like the world is against them and would want people to feel sorry for them. George Edwin Taylor was born August 4,1857, in little rock Arkansas to a single mother named Amanda Hines. Shortly after him and his mother moved to lacrosse she passed away and he was orphaned and went into the 1900s version of foster care, he bounced around then managed to live with a farmer until he was 20   named Nathan smith who insisted George had a good education .   In my opinion I feel like George stuck some ...

On December 18, 2019 President Donald Trump was impeached , making him the 3rd president in US history to be impeached. President Trump was impeached after being accused of abuse of power and obstruction of congress. While Donald trump joined two of his predecessors being 17th president Andrew Johnson and 42nd president Bill Clinton, neither of the previous presidents were actually removed from office . There are some similarites and differences in the reasons these presidents were impeached. When it comes to college most people don't graduate. Actually, only 33% of students make it to the ultimate goal - graduation. I feel like some people have problems at home or financial problems that set them back when it comes to graduating.   Students simply can’t pay or class is just too much and college, in general, is too much for them.  People just get tired of college and feel like it’s a better road to take in life which his understandable. Then again the students less fortunate who do go to college coming from a background with no money that will make them eager to work harder in life and get what they want because they weren’t privileged younger. Meanwhile, kids who have rich parents most of the time will always have money in their life so they won’t take college as serious or won’t even need to go but in certain instances their parents being rich will want to make them strive to be like their parents as well they won’t want to seem like a failure to their pa...
