why less than 1/3 of students who start out at public colleges will graduate within 6 years

When it comes to college most people don't graduate. Actually, only 33% of students make it to the ultimate goal - graduation. I feel like some people have problems at home or financial problems that set them back when it comes to graduating.

Students simply can’t pay or class is just too much and college, in general, is too much for them.  People just get tired of college and feel like it’s a better road to take in life which his understandable. Then again the students less fortunate who do go to college coming from a background with no money that will make them eager to work harder in life and get what they want because they weren’t privileged younger. Meanwhile, kids who have rich parents most of the time will always have money in their life so they won’t take college as serious or won’t even need to go but in certain instances their parents being rich will want to make them strive to be like their parents as well they won’t want to seem like a failure to their parents. Current NBA players go through the same thing Players like LeBron James and Kevin Durant didn’t have anything but basketball growing up while players Like Stephen curry had everything growing up but still wanted to be like their parents and follow footsteps. When it comes to college students simple things like not paying attention, not coming to class or Procrastinating can hold you back from doing what you have to do  . People go to college solely just to have fun and that keeps them back from what they need to do   . Students may get sick at home and they might have to go back and look after them or for some people they might have a pregnancy and it will affect them so they can continue college any longer. I feel like anyone can graduate college if they really want to you can strive for anything you want and never give up.
